2018 FESTIVAL ARCHIVE

yellow-texture-medium.png

Beverley Puppet Festival 2018 saw 30 companies across four venues and through the streets of Beverley. We presented a vast array of puppet performances, with styles and techniques to delight adults and children alike, attracting 13,000 people across the festival weekend. This was largely made possible by our primary national funder Arts Council England.

The theme of 2018 was ‘transformations and journeys’, which manifested ambitious adventures for the festival as we joined forces with Moving Parts Arts. This partnership will continue to help the festival grow and will create new opportunities for artistic networking and development, particularly through The Moving Parts Scratch Space, a space to showcase exciting new scratch shows co-hosted by the Indigo Moon Theatre Tent.
