Meet new people. Be part of a community. Work together to achieve something unique for the people of Beverley and its visitors.

We need you!
Are you looking for valuable experience for your CV or the opportunity to make new friends and give back to the local community?

The award-winning Beverley Puppet Festival is looking for volunteers to contribute to the success of the first “live” Festival since 2018. Giant, fantastical creatures roam Beverley’s historic streets, and tiny, magical worlds are revealed to unsuspecting audiences. Be part of something unique, fun and larger-than-life.

We are looking for volunteers with a passion for the arts, Beverley’s community spirit, and delivering exceptional visitor experiences.  Full training will be provided by our Volunteer Manager Bridget Coggin, who is a specialist in arts management volunteering.

After the festival we will be happy to offer references, employability advice, and sign
posting to jobs in the arts and culture sector.

Interested parties need to be 18+ years of age, have a flexible approach to team working and enjoy working with the public. Volunteers will need to be available to work the festival weekend July 15th, 16th and 17th.

While the majority of the volunteer opportunities will be across the festival weekend, we are looking for several volunteers to join us in the two weeks lead up in various roles to include technical theatre work, leafleting and set-up. Light refreshments will be provided, and the average shift time will be 4 hours. There will be opportunities to attend shows based on participation.

We look forward to hearing from you to discuss this opportunity in further detail.
Please complete the volunteer application by clicking the purple button below and spread the word for what should be a fantastic and fun filled experience!

Deadline for expressions of interest is June 1st 2022.
