Artist applications open for Beverley Puppet Festival 2022

After a challenging (but rewarding!) year in 2020 transferring our festival online for the first time we are now looking towards 2022 to bring puppetry back to Beverley's streets and venues.
Subject to funding, the 10th edition of Beverley Puppet Festival will take place 15th - 17th July 2022 and we are seeking applications from UK and overseas artists to make it the best one yet!
We are seeking applications from puppetry/visual theatre companies who can offer: - Indoor shows for adults, teens, kids and families - Outdoor shows - Walkabout - Workshops
We are accepting applications from international companies as well as UK companies, but we are currently unsure whether Brexit will drastically affect our ability to bring companies from overseas. We are seeking as much advice as possible on the logistics of this and please do still apply if you are an interested international company.
As usual, programmed artists will receive food on performance days, accommodation and a festival pass to enjoy the festival alongside a performance fee.
