Following a freak accident Jack Pratchard finds himself dead and knee-deep in the ice-cold waters of the underworld. The taciturn Boatman takes Jack to the City of the Dead where he meets the Queen, the first person ever to die. One day the City of the Dead is stolen... What will happen to the Queen? And what can Jack do? Jack Pratchard is a dark and comic fairy tale for all the family. It tells of one man’s journey to the other side of life and his quest to do the right thing for the good of mankind. This charming and original one-man show is told with beautifully painted cardboard puppets in an extraordinary, hand-made miniature theatre. It was winner of the 2012 Arlyn Award for Outstanding Design in Puppet Theatre. An epic tour de force in painted cardboard.
